Annual Goodbye and Hello!

Wow another 365 days off the calandar!  And it's been quite a year.  To begin with, I've lost 80 pounds!  Resolution kept from this time last year!  On another front, I was determined to help veterans this year and I think I did that.  I've volunteered to facilitate a group at the VA and that went well.  More to come next year.  My business selling Dream vacations had been slow going but I got a chance to go on a wonderful 8 day cruise for our nation conference and got lots of ideals for next year.  I have another business prospect coming up in 2017 so stay tuned.

Sadly I lost two babies...London and Willow.

In memory:

I miss them dearly.  But I still have a big family:

7 dogs, 2 cats, and a pig, who are all doing great.  So I am grateful for that. I'll post more pics of them next year, I promise.

This has been a tough year on the political front, with the election of Donald Trump.  So I will probably write more to vent against him and those who want to turn the clock back on all the good things that happened under Obama.

Last year this time I thought I would be a civilian by now, but the Army never does anything fast.  So, I am just waiting on my retirement orders to come in.  I expect to fully retire after 23 years in the military sometime next spring.  I will miss the Army, but I've done my time and it's time to let younger peeps take over.

There have been many good things happen this year, but I am excited about next year.  So with the last few hours of 2016 going away, I just want to tell you what my new year resolutions are for 2017:

1.  Lose weight!...No I'm kidding I just want to maintain my current weight!
2.  World Peace...(well I ain't sure how this one will work out.
3.  Write more often on this blog.
4.  Do more to help vets.
5.  Grow my businesses.
6.  Travel and visit my family more.
7. Love more.
8. Hate less.

That's it friends.  So long 2016 and Happy 2017!
